OBSERVING AT THE 122cm TELESCOPE

The "Galileo" 122cm telescope is used for research programs, lab courses for undergraduate students, and educational activities involving students and teachers of the secondary schools. The telescope is open to researchers or research groups of any astronomical institutions, who are interested in the capabilities of the available instrumentation. Observing time is allocated every three months under the responsibility of the Director of the Astronomy Department on the basis of the proposed scientific programs.
