This figure represents the quantuum efficiency curve of the new CCD camera ANDOR iDUS 512x2048 (blue solid line) compared to the old Wright 512x512 CCD camera (red dashed line).
The figure represents the quantuum efficiency curve of the telescope+spectrograph+detector system before the allumination of the hyperbolic secondary mirror (red dashed line) and after the allumination (blue solid line). These curves have been obtained in different epochs by observing a spectrophotometric standard star with a slit aperture of 8.5 arcsec. The sky conditions during the two observations are not comparable: in particular, the new efficiency curve has been obtained with a seeing of about 6 arcsec and therefore it must be considered a lower limit.
