Welcome to my personal photography page. I have been taking (mainly snapshot) photographs for many years. I started with a manual and fully mechanical (black) Pentax MX SLR, later adding a (black) Yashica T4 autofocus point and shoot. In late 2003 I switched to digital with the (silver - sigh!) Olympus C750 UZ (4Mp, 38-380mm equivalent optical zoom). In 2006 I made my next major move, by switching back to SRL, and getting the (then) new Nikon D80 DSLR with the 18-200mm VR lens, as soon as it was announced. In 2008 I upgraded to the fantastic Nikon D700, which currently is my only camera body. My equipment includes more lenses: Nikkor AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8, AF-D 50mm f/1.4, AF-D 85mm f/1.8, AF-D 105mm f/2 DC, AF-S VR 70-200mm f/2.8, AF-S 300mm f/4, plus some accessories: a Nikon TC-14EII 1.4x teleconverter, a Nikon Speedlight SB-600 dedicated flash, a Canon 500D close-up lens and a Nikon PN-11 extension tube for close-up photography, a Manfrotto 055C tripod with 486RC2 ball head. In this page I am posting galleries of selected photographs, some of mainly personal value. I am also posting a page of photographic tests, where I collect the results of my experimenting as I do it.
