The chiller unit, positioned some 100 m from the dome at the
entrance road, produces the refrigerated fluid for active cooling of
devices and of the air conditioning machines.

but its working point will be set according to the temperature of
the previous night.

Air conditioning machine set below the observing floor. It produces
a flow of some 38000 cubic meters per hour of refrigerated air
towards the Nasmyth rooms and the telescope area.
